# dex inference: Acceptable Use Policy

**dex inference follows its usage policy.**

YUKI on your own PC or phone runs your models privately on your own hardware, and we don't see what you do
there; you're responsible for using it lawfully. This policy is about **dex inference**, the shared pool of machines that
members can use from any device through their dex account. Those machines belong to Dex and to other people
who lend their GPUs, so a short list of things is off the table there.

## What dex inference won't make

1. **Sexual content involving minors**, in chat or in images.
2. **Non-consensual sexual images or deepfakes of real, identifiable people.**

That's the whole list. Anything else is between you and the model.

## How it's checked

- Every picture request is checked by a small safety model on the host before anything is drawn.
- Every generated picture is checked on the host before it leaves that machine.
- Chat isn't checked automatically. The list above still applies to it.
- The checks are part of YUKI's pool software and run the same way on every host, whoever runs it. A host that
  doesn't run them gets no picture requests.

When something is blocked you get a plain message saying so, and you can run it in YUKI on your own PC
instead. We don't keep what you asked for or what was made. We keep a count: which of the two categories,
and on which day.

## Repeated hits

Three blocks within 30 days pause dex inference on your account and let Dex know. He looks at the counts
(never content, there isn't any to look at) and can switch it back on. Your dex account, your membership and
YUKI on your own devices keep working while dex inference is paused.

## Fair play

- Don't try to get around the checks, attack the service or the hosts, or slow them down on purpose.
- Your membership is for you. Don't share your account or resell access.
- If you run a host: it runs model inference only, it doesn't keep or look at other people's requests or
  results, and it runs the checks unchanged.
